The NHA was founded in 1948 and champion’s the gold standard of a whole-plant-food lifestyle! We're a non-profit organization of like-minded individuals striving to educate, empower and spread the knowledge that health results from healthful living.

We take the leadership role in advocating that health freedom results from an exclusively whole-plant-food diet and the results undoubtedly speak for themselves. We fully recognize the integration and importance of all aspects of health to include personal, environmental, and social. Combine this lifestyle with exercise and rest, a healthy environment, psychological well-being, and when indicated, the use of medically supervised water-only fasting.

Hi. I’m KD Angle-Traegner, and I run Your Daily Vegan. Let me tell you a little about myself.

I started this website in 2009 with one goal: To bring the vegan evolution to the masses. I went vegan for the animals more than fifteen years ago.

Personal motto: I can’t save every life, so I save every life that I can.

I’ve spent the last 23+ years with my vegan wife, whom I married at Lasa Animal Sanctuary. Inspired by incredible life-saving work that animal sanctuaries do, I decided to start one of my own; Four Urban Paws Sanctuary.
